Global Operations - Overview

Antrim Energy has enjoyed an enduring and unique history when compared with other North American companies in its space. Since inception, Antrim has explored and had a presence in a variety of regions across the globe.  This is typically the domain of much larger energy firms, however Antrim has proven that it possesses the tenacity and will to succeed in a variety of climates worldwide.

Regions that Antrim has been in or is still involved in include Argentina, the UK North Sea, Tanzania, Ireland, New Zealand and on-shore UK. Antrim has had significant success in Argentina and the UK North Sea.  In Argentina, Antrim currently produces in excess of 2000 BOED (Sept, 2009).  The majority of this production is natural gas.  In the UK North Sea, Antrim has made large discoveries in two fields and currently owns approximately 26 million barrels of oil (P2).  At present, Antrim is in the process of preparing to tie one of these fields in and bring the product to market by 2011.  This will add an additional 14,500 barrels of oil per day to the overall production number.

Antrim continues to evaluate opportunities worldwide and will use the tried and true methods it has already established, to develop and commercialize them.
