Tierra del Fuego
Tierra del Fuego is Antrim's core property in Argentina. Antrim is a non operating partner in the property which currently produces approximately 1,600 BOEPD (net to Antrim). The major portion (75%) of Tierra del Fuego production is natural gas.
In 2008 the Company built and commissioned gas facilities which allowed it to transport gas through a transmission pipeline to mainland industrial markets. These markets offer significantly higher gas prices than paid on the Island. Upward demand for domestic gas continues to force gas prices even higher.
Activity
- Between 2005 and 2010, the company drilled 51 wells (13 net) of which 10 have been cased for oil and gas production. Over the same period, production has increased from 200 (net) boepd to 1800 (net) boepd.
- Current activity is focused on completing and tying in the 8 successfull wells drilled in 2010
